Welcome to The Tree Frog Music Room! Located on a lively block of Ivanhoe in the picturesque neighborhood of Lindenwood Park, The Tree Frog is a new gathering space for live music in the city of St. Louis. It’s an intimate environment where musicians, from professional to those just starting out, are creating a vibrant and welcoming community. 

Owners Russell and Marcia Jaffe are native New Orleanians who landed in St. Louis with their three children after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. They hope The Tree Frog is a way to give back to the St. Louis music community, as well as to infuse a little of their beloved New Orleans into their adopted home.

Check out our Thursday Open Mic, run by Gary Schoenberger, owner of the former Webster Groves Garden Cafe, and hear some incredible singer songwriter talent right here in St. Louis. You’ll also be sure to hear owner Russell Jaffe playing his Mountain Dulcimer. We have a growing calendar of events for future performances of live music, including Jazz, Fiddle, Old Time, Bluegrass, Folk and World Music, so check back often!
